This is not a lecture. I am staining woodwork the newly renovated brownstone in Brooklyn that I grew up in with my mom. She would have loved this. She made sure I learned how to do this kind of work. How to use my hands, to hold a paint brush and swing a hammer and save a dollar. May Allah continue to bless her.
