الشيخ الدكتور عثمان الخميس تتلمذ على يد الشيخ محمد بن صالح العثيمين والشيخ صالح اللحيدان وغيرهم من العلماء، وتخرج على يديه العديد من الطلبة، حاصل على بكالوريوس من جامعة المدينة المنورة تخصص حديث، حاصل على الماجستير في البحث المعنون (السبطين الحسن والحسين) ، حاصل على الدكتوراه في البحث المعنون (مراجعة المراجعات) ، ويعمل الآن دكتور في جامعة الكويت وموجه في وزارة الأوقاف في دار القرآن للدراسات الإسلاميه ومديراً لمدرسة ورثة الانبياء.
