Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, widely known as Charlie Chaplin, was a legendary English actor, comedian, filmmaker, and composer who rose to fame during the silent film era. He was born on April 16, 1889, in London, England, and his childhood was marked by poverty and hardship.

Chaplin's career began in the music hall and vaudeville circuits in England, where he developed his skills as a performer. In 1913, he traveled to the United States and soon signed with Keystone Studios, where he created his iconic character, "The Tramp." The Tramp, with his distinctive bowler hat, toothbrush mustache, cane, and distinctive walk, became one of the most recognizable and beloved figures in the history of cinema.

Chaplin's early films, such as "The Kid" (1921) and "The Gold Rush" (1925), were enormous successes, combining humor with social commentary. Despite the advent of sound in cinema, Chaplin continued to produce silent films well into the 1930s, including "City Lights" (1931) and "Modern Times" (1936). His ability to convey emotion and tell a story without spoken words showcased his mastery of visual comedy.

In addition to acting, Chaplin wrote, directed, and composed music for many of his films. His work often tackled social and political issues, making him not only a master of comedy but also a thoughtful and influential artist. However, his outspoken political views, especially during the era of McCarthyism, led to controversy and challenges in his later career.

Chaplin's personal life was also marked by turbulence, including multiple marriages and legal troubles. In 1972, he received an honorary Academy Award for his contributions to the film industry, and in 1975, Queen Elizabeth II knighted him.

Charlie Chaplin passed away on December 25, 1977, in Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland. Video technology and science converge on an active volcano in Vanuatu, where explorer Sam Cossman operated camera-mounted drones to capture high-definition images of the spectacular yet dangerous Marum Crater. Cossman and his team piloted the drones over the 7.5-mile-wide (12-kilometer) caldera while confronting toxic gases and boiling lava. Although two drones succumbed to the harsh environment, the team was able to bring back video and photos that will help scientists learn more about the volcano and the life around it.

La nouvelle a été accueillie par des cris de joie. Après la remise de quatre otages israéliennes, 200 prisonniers palestiniens ont été libérés par Israël ce samedi 25 janvier. Une foule compacte a exulté lorsque les bus transportant une partie des ex-détenus sont arrivés dans les rues de Ramallah. Selon les journalistes de l’AFP, des milliers de personnes sont venues dans cette ville cisjordanienne, siège de l’Autorité palestinienne, pour les accueillir.

La libération des prisonniers a été confirmée en début d’après-midi par l’administration pénitentiaire israélienne, selon qui les « terroristes » libérés avec « l’aval des autorités politiques » venaient des prisons d’Ofer en Cisjordanie et de Ktziot, dans le sud d’Israël.

الإسلامية و بعدها يقيم القصص من أهل
الفتنة الذين قتلوا سيدنا : عثمان بن عفان
