Synopsis:
A group of french soldiers marches on a narrow duckboard pathway through the wartorn landscape of world war one. A direct mortar hit knocks out the officer. The group buries the victim and marches on toward the frontlines. Only one of them survives the hard and lethal journey through gas, mortar fire and the elements. The lone soldier faces the end of his road, ending in a huge cliff with at the bottom a gigantic meatgrinding machines. He drops to his knees in desperation. Suddenly he hears footsteps, he looks up and spots a lone german soldier advancing through the gas on the other side of the cliff. After a long faceoff the French soldier lifts his rifle and aims at his "mirror image"!

Soar was created as Alyce Tzue"s thesis project in school. What began as a toil of love by first-time filmmakers ended up catching the eyes of festivals all over the world. Soar is the proud 2015 Gold Winner of the 42nd Student Oscars, Best Student Animation Winner at Palm Springs, Finalist at the Student BAFTAs, and has screened in the Hamptons, St. Louis, Seoul, Austin, and more.

TheCGBros Presents "BIG BOOM" - A film that explores the questions of existence through the eye of a lonely service robot. It was definitely inspired by things like Wall-E and Fallout 4, however Big Boom has it"s own unique voice as well. Perhaps a bit bleaker than it"s influences (or optimistic depending on how you interpret the ending).
