'That's my life': Trump points to the media 'bias' he faces as president
President Trump has spoken of the media bias he faces on a daily basis ahead of the upcoming presidential debate with Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
“I think the anchor is a very biased person, her parents are very biased but that’s my life and in the meantime that’s the Whitehouse standing behind me,” he said.
Speaking about the new debate format which will allow candidates’ microphones to be cut to avoid interruptions, Mr Trump said he thought the new rule was “very unfair”.
He added, “I think it’s very bad they’re not talking about foreign affairs. They are supposed to be talking about foreign affairs”.
However, he pointed to the polls which have started to improve in his favour saying, “We’re doing very well in the polls”.
“I guess you noticed it’s going up rapidly.”
