Lewis), discover a plan that their hungry customers are hatching. These two thieves are attempting to rob the tomb of King Rootintootin, which contains a priceless diamond, but they discover that the emir of Schmow (Johnny Kascier) has already gotten his hands on the diamond. In "Brideless Groom" (1947), directed by Edward Bernds and starring Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Shemp Howard, hilarity ensues as Shemp discovers the outrageous conditions of his late uncle's will. To secure his inheritance, Shemp must tie the knot before 6 o'clock on the same day. However, the quest for a willing bride becomes a comedic odyssey, filled with mishaps and absurd encounters. The Three Stooges deliver their signature slapstick humor, turning the pursuit of matrimony into a sidesplitting adventure. Stooging could be a hazardous profession...
In "Gem of a Jam" (1943), the table Curly's on tilts too fast and his head hits the window sill.
The gash required nine stitches. He immediately returned to work.
"Heavenly Daze" (1939) director Jules White assured Moe that a pen gag wouldn't hurt Larry.
It did. The pen deeply punctured Larry's forehead, and Moe took off after White.
Ironically, Moe sustained the most on-set injuries.
A blast of gunk to the face in "Oily to Bed, Oily to Rise" (1939) required medical attention to Moe's eyes.
In "Self-Made Maids" (1950), a twisted ankle has Moe diving out of camera range to save the shot.
He hits his head on a bed frame and is knocked cold.
In "Pardon My Scotch" (1935), Moe does a pratfall that results in several broken ribs.
He rises and finishes the shot before passing out. The rest of the scene was filmed later.

Men in Black is a 1934 short subject directed by Raymond McCarey starring American slapstick comedy team The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Jerry Howard). It is the third entry in the series released by Columbia Pictures starring the comedians, who released 190 short subjects for the studio between 1934 and 1959.
Men in Black is the only Stooge film ever nominated for an Academy Award for Best Short Subject - Comedy.[1]
Notes:
Filming for Men in Black took place from August 28 to September 1, 1934. It holds the distinction of being the Stooge short released the fastest after its filming concluded at just 27 days. The opening title music, "I Thought I Wanted You," composed by Archie Gottler and Edward Eliscu, is unique to this and previous film, Punch Drunks.
Men in Black contains the first appearance of many gags used in later shorts. For instance, this is the first of several Stooge shorts in which one of the three Stooges charges into or out of an office with a door that has a large plate-glass window, slamming the door behind them and causing the plate glass in the door to shatter. It is also the first of many shorts where the Stooges make a liquid concoction of something (in this case, medicine) by randomly pouring together various liquids with gibberish names (a similar gag is sometimes used where the Stooges pass each other various tools with nonsensical names while operating). The Stooges have several off-the-wall dialogues with nurses, particularly the "hiccuping nurse" played by Jeanie Roberts, who affects a girlish Betty Boop-like voice. As well, this is the first short which shows the Stooges repeatedly engage in a huddle while planning something out.
This film also contains the famous recurring dispatcher line "Calling Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard." In this short, the three doctors get so sick and tired of the repeated calls that they decided to tear down the dispatcher's call board and, when a small transmitter appears on the floor, quivering and still repeating "Doctor Howard! Doctor Fine! Doctor Howard!", they all take out handguns and shoot it, causing the dispatcher to say "Oh! They got me!". The Stooges then lift a toast and repeat the film's catch-phrase: "For duty and humanity!" Part of the dispatcher's call board was also used in the background of the dogwashing facility in the Stooges' 1938 short, Mutts to You.
The film title Men in Black is a spoof of the Clark Gable and Myrna Loy 1934 movie Men in White, released earlier that year. The Stooges, in fact, wear mostly white outfits for this film. The short is also significant in that it was the only time that the trio would be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Short Subject - Comedy.
Men in Black also represents an early use of what has come to be described as hammerspace. The Stooges go to the storage closet to acquire modes of transportation to get them to their patients. They are seen riding a three-man bicycle, a horse, and then individual go-carts out of the closet.

Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, widely known as Charlie Chaplin, was a legendary English actor, comedian, filmmaker, and composer who rose to fame during the silent film era. He was born on April 16, 1889, in London, England, and his childhood was marked by poverty and hardship.
Chaplin's career began in the music hall and vaudeville circuits in England, where he developed his skills as a performer. In 1913, he traveled to the United States and soon signed with Keystone Studios, where he created his iconic character, "The Tramp." The Tramp, with his distinctive bowler hat, toothbrush mustache, cane, and distinctive walk, became one of the most recognizable and beloved figures in the history of cinema.
Chaplin's early films, such as "The Kid" (1921) and "The Gold Rush" (1925), were enormous successes, combining humor with social commentary. Despite the advent of sound in cinema, Chaplin continued to produce silent films well into the 1930s, including "City Lights" (1931) and "Modern Times" (1936). In addition to acting, Chaplin wrote, directed, and composed music for many of his films. Description:
A Night in the Show was Charlie Chaplin's 12th film for Essanay. It was made at Majestic Studio in Los Angeles the fall of 1915. Chaplin played two roles: one as Mr. Pest and one as Mr. Rowdy. The film was created from Chaplin's stage work from a play called Mumming Birds (a.k.a. A Night at an English Music Hall in the United States) with the Karno Company from London. Chaplin performed this play during his U.S. tours with Fred Karno company and decided to bring some of this play to his film work. Edna Purviance played a minor role as a lady in the audience.

A woman abandons her newborn son along with a note for the finder. The Tramp stumbles upon the child and though initially reluctant, takes him in and raises him as his own.
The Kid is a 1921 American silent comedy-drama film written, produced, directed and starring Charlie Chaplin, and features Jackie Coogan as his foundling baby, adopted son and sidekick. This was Chaplin's first full-length film as a director (he had been a co-star in 1914's Tillie's Punctured Romance). It was a huge success, and was the second-highest-grossing film in 1921, behind The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. In 2011, The Kid was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

Adults – of course – were conquered by Chaplin’s exquisite talent, but the character was soon adopted by a much younger audience. After all, the forlorn little guy with his funny walk and silly mustache is – first and foremost – a clown! He seems to have endless energy, ever seeking solutions to the endless obstacles life assails him with. His naïve clumsiness - combined with a heroic disposition - enables us to identify Charlie Chaplin with our own childhood… back when everything seemed possible.
Daily life seen through the eyes of Charlie Chaplin could never be dull! Every little mundane event is transformed into side-splitting hilarity. Acute clumsiness and naivety are certainly not helpful when it comes contending with an irritable boss, persuading the neighbor that Chaplin’s house is not the local garbage dump when trying to shake off a bunch of over-zealous cops and even going on a shopping expedition to the supermarket with the Kid.
However, our hero with the toothbrush mustache is always armed with his trademark cane and bowler hat and ready to face whatever life has to throw at him. Against all odds, Chaplin overcomes the trials and tribulations of daily life with humor, dignity and the spirit of adventure.

One of the greatest Love stories ever told!
Starring Charlie Chaplin from the movie City Lights (1931) and my version of Andre Popp's orignal song, "Love is blue".
Sinopse: Uma mãe solteira deixa um hospital de caridade com seu filho recém-nascido. A mãe percebe que ela não pode dar para seu filho todo o cuidado que ele precisa, assim ela prende um bilhete junto a criança, pedindo que quem o achar cuide e ame o seu bebê, e o deixa no banco de trás de um luxuoso carro. Entretanto, o veículo é roubado por dois ladrões, que quando descobrem o bebê o abandonam no fundo de uma ruela. Sem saber de nada um vagabundo faz o seu passeio matinal e encontra o bebê. Inicialmente ele quer se livrar da criança, mas diversos fatores sempre o impedem e gradativamente ele passa a amá-lo. Paralelamente a mãe se arrepende e tenta reencontrar seu filho, mas quando descobre que o carro foi roubado tem um choque, pois muito provavelmente ela nunca mais verá sua criança.
