أَبَدًا لَّا لَن نَّحِيد
Never will we ever divert
Abadal lā lan naḥīd
أَبَدًا لَّا لَن نَّحِيد عَن خُطَى الإِيمَانِ
Never will we ever divert from the steps of faith
Abadal lā lan naḥīd ʿan ḵutā l-īmāni
دَربُناَ دَربٌ قَوِيم
Our path is the straight path
Darbunā darbun qawīm
دَربُناَ دَربٌ قَوِيمٌ بِالهُدَى القُرآنِ
Our path is the straight path by the guidance of the Qurʾān
Darbunā darbun qawīmum bi-l-hudā l-Qurʾāni
سَائِرُون فِي طَرِيقِ الحَقِّ يَا جُندُ الله
Marching on, on the path of truth, oh Soldiers of Allāh
Sāʾirūn fī ṭarīqi l-ḥaqqi yā jundu llāh
جُندُ اللّٰه، جُندُ اللّٰه
Soldiers of Allāh
Jundu llāh

عَهدًا عَلَيناَ أُسُودَ الْعَرِين
Promise us oh the lions of the sanctum
ʿAhdan ʿalainā usūda l-ʿarīn
نَمضِي أَمَامًا أَبَد لَا نَلِين
We will march forward never will we yield
Namḍī amāman abad lā nalīn
حَتَّى إِذَا حَانَ النَّفِير
Until the moment of the battle
Ḥattā iḏā hāna n-nafīr
عُدناَ جُنُودًا نُّلَبِّي المَسِير
We return soldiers answering the call
ʿUdnā junūdan nulabbī l-masīr

وَلَا بُدَّ يَومًا سَيَرجِعُ الأَقصَى
And undoubtedly one day, the Aqṣā will return
Wa-lā budda yauman sayarjiʿu l-Aqṣā
لِيَحيَا الفِدَاءُ بِطُولِ المَدَى
So the redemption will forever remain
Li-yaḥyā l-fidāʾu bi-ṭūli l-madā
لِجَنَّاتِ رَبِّي سَارَ الشَّهِيد
To the gardens of my Lord, the martyr went
Li-jannāti rabbī sāra š-šahīd
عَن دَربِهِ دَومًا أَبَد لَا نَحِيد
From His path never will we ever divert
ʿAn darbihi dauman abad lā naḥīd

سَنَمضِي جُنُودًا نَّدُكُّ العِدَى
We will go forth as soldiers crushing our enemies
Sanamḍi junūdan nadukku l-ʿidā
وَقُرآنُ رَبِّي لَناَ مَورِدًا
With the Qurʾān of our Lord as our resource
Wa-Qurʾānu Rabbī lanā mauridā
وَيَبعَثُ فِيناَ يَقِينًا جَدِيد
And it sends in us a new certainty
Wa-yabʿaṯu fīnā yaqīnan jadīd
فَيَومُ الشَّهَادَة نَصرٌ مَّجِيد
That the day of martyrship is a glorious victory
Fa-yaumu š-šahādah naṣrum majīd

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari:

that he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."

وَقَالَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطِيَّةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْكِلاَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ غَنْمٍ الأَشْعَرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَامِرٍ ـ أَوْ أَبُو مَالِكٍ ـ الأَشْعَرِيُّ وَاللَّهِ مَا كَذَبَنِي سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ‏ "‏لَيَكُونَنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَقْوَامٌ يَسْتَحِلُّونَ الْحِرَ وَالْحَرِيرَ وَالْخَمْرَ وَالْمَعَازِفَ، وَلَيَنْزِلَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ إِلَى جَنْبِ عَلَمٍ يَرُوحُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِسَارِحَةٍ لَهُمْ، يَأْتِيهِمْ ـ يَعْنِي الْفَقِيرَ ـ لِحَاجَةٍ فَيَقُولُوا ارْجِعْ إِلَيْنَا غَدًا‏.‏ فَيُبَيِّتُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَضَعُ الْعَلَمَ، وَيَمْسَخُ آخَرِينَ قِرَدَةً وَخَنَازِيرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ‏"‏‏.‏
