The Earth is a field upon which we travel
‏بهِ لنيلِ الأمنيات
to reach our wishes
‏ورحلةٌ فيها نجاهدُ
and a journey in which we strive
‏كي نرى معنى الحياة
in order to see the meaning of life
‏ولا نزالُ على طريقِ
and we continue upon this path
‏طموحنا حتى الممات
of ambitions until death
‏تؤزّنا الأهواءُ لكن
our whims encourage us (to move away) but
‏نسألُ الله الثبات
we ask Allah for steadfastness
‏إنّا هنا في الأرضِ نجمعُ
we over here on earth gather
‏للمُنى أجرًا وزاد
for our death, reward and provisions
‏فعمرنا زرعٌ سنقطفُ
as our lives are a plantation, the fruit of which we
‏جنيهُ يومَ الحصاد
will reap on the day of harvest
‏وسوف نبقى نبذلُ الأنفاس
and we will continue spending our breath
‏في نيلِ المراد
in reaching our goal
‏وحلمنا المأمولُ جنّاتٌ لنا
whilst our dream we wish for is gardens( Paradise) for us
‏عند المعاد
upon our return ( to the hereafter)
‏أوطاننا في الخلدِ
our homes in the everlasting
‏نبنيها بطاعاتٍ ودين
we build them through obedience's ( to Allah) and religion
‏كلّ ما في الكونِ فانٍ
everything in the universe is going to come to an end
‏غير ربّ العالمين
except the lord of the universe
‏نبذلُ الطاعاتِ
we use our obedience
‏في مرضى الإلهِ ونستعين
in the pleasure of The Lord, and we take help ( from him)
‏كي ننالَ الفضلَ
so that we may attain the virtue
‏في جنّاتِ عدنٍ ناعمين
in the Gardens of Eden ( paradise) effortlessly

I don't know of my hopelessness in this day,
nor do I know whether I am guided.

I don't even know my night or my day,

Nor do I invoked any one along with Oh my Lord.

إليك أنت صباحي مصفد في مساي
Oh Lord! My morning is shackled up in my evening

فاسكب ضياءك إني .. ظمآن ضل صداي
Place your light in mh heart, as I am thirsty [of guidance]

لم أدر من أي نبع .. أسقي جنين الركايا
I don't know from which waterspout [i.e. how] .. can I water my strength? to a newly-found well [i.e. to find guidance]

والشط لا ماء فيه .. يطفي اللظى في حشايا
And the beach has not enough water (i.e. no strength at the edge of life)
to extinguish the blaze in my heart. (i.e. to comfort my worry)

رحماك يا ربي اني .. وزورقي والخطايا
I ask of your mercy, my Lord.
I and my small boat, alongside with my sins

في لجة ليس فيها .. من الضياء بقايا
are in tidal waves to which no light can reach.

جفت وغابت ولكن .. مازلت أسجي رجاي
are been dried up and disappeared, but .. I still quietly hope of your mercy.
