Of all time periods, why did Allah choose for you to be born in this one? Would it have been easier if you were born at the time of the Prophet (s)? How does your time period impact your life’s purpose? You are inevitable. You are the answer to someone’s du’a decades ago, and your life and your choices are informed by the prayers, experiences, and circumstances of your ancestors generations before you. Eventually, your life and purpose will inform that of your children’s children as well. What will you do with the cards you’ve been dealt by your ancestors? What cards will you leave behind for your descendants?

The story of how a feared enemy of Islam became it's greatest general.
Before Islam, the Quraysh knew the Ka’bah was special, but they misused the holy site in pursuit of idolatry. As a result, the Prophet ﷺ avoided the Ka’bah in his early years, wishing to stay away from shirk and obscenity. But that would change once he received revelation. As he learned about what the Ka’bah truly stood for—a symbol of monotheism in a lost world—he began to spend more time there to establish the rituals of Hajj.

Zayd Ibn Haritha's (ra) nickname was “the beloved of the beloved ﷺ”. The character of the Prophet ﷺ is exhibited in relationships he had with people before Islam was revealed, and his relationship with Zayd (ra) is one of them.
Zayd (ra) was the first freed slave to become a Muslim. His life and the choices he made exemplify what it means to love the Prophet ﷺ.

Some people have the trial of discovering Islam for the first time later in life. Others who were born Muslim, however, may find themselves at a point where they ask, "Am I really a Muslim or was I just raised that way?" As we venture into the space of producing higher quality media, we’ve worked hard to make sure that our compliance with our religious ethics is not sacrificed. While Yaqeen has always produced vocals for our Ramadan series, this series was unique in that it also included the story of a family in the background. Our talented production team worked with our scholars to ensure that all actors were in proper hijab, and that all gender interactions were only by Mahrams in real life. We’re grateful to the team for its wonderful effort, and grateful to the families that agreed to participate.
