_Sinossi_ . (00:11) Dopo una travagliata attesa nello studio di un agente cinematografico, Charlie riesce ad a farsi assumere nella produzione di un film in costume in qualità attrezzista. Quando però uno degli attori abbandona il set (12:46), Charlie è immediatamente scelto per sostituirlo: il costume assegnatogli è evidentemente troppo largo per lui (15:44) e crea problemi sulla scena, non conoscendo il copione egli prende a pugni un suo collega e, infine, corteggia senza tregua la primattrice. (22:41) Nel momento in cui sembra che Charlie stia riuscendo a gestire la situazione, ecco che finisce per distruggere il set e strappare l’abito alla diva lasciandola semi-vestita.
Nel film fa la sua comparsa, nel ruolo di stenografa, una giovane *Gloria Swanson* (0:14, la donna che batte a macchina) , attrice destinata ad divenire una delle stelle più brillanti di Hollywood.

After diving into the 1999 Laurel & Hardy reboot last month, I wanted to take a stab at reviewing another similar slapstick comedy reboot - The Three Stooges from 2012. Not nearly as shameless as you may think, it's actually a decent love letter that was plagued with bad studio decisions behind the scenes.
